Second: Oreo Colorfilled!

My very good friends at Oreo wrote me saying that they had something exciting coming for the holidays, and would I like to be informed? Uh, yes. Yes I would, Oreo. Duh. Within a few days, I received a cardboard shoebox-looking thing in the mail. And on the front, this:

Colorfilled? But we’d already seen colored Oreo creme before, right? The holiday Oreos had red, the Spring Oreos were yellow, Halloween Oreos were orange…so what does colorfilled mean? Time to flip the lid and find out:

WHAAA??

Ah, thats what this is. Oreo Colorfilled is a chance for you, the consumer, to customize the packaging of your pack of Oreos to give to friends and family this holiday season!  And actually, fi you go to Shop.Oreo.com RIGHT NOW, you’ll see the whole animated display explaining this promotion.

It’s pretty cool – when you go to the site, you can choose what the canvas of your Oreo pack looks like from art by Jeremyville and Timothy Goodman. The artwork looks a lot like the stuff on the t-shirt:

Then , after you select what your stencil design looks like, you start filling that ish in with a wide variety of colors! Remember when I went on my rant about adult coloring books? Yeah, this is sort of the same concept. Appeal to your inner child…

And this is what the Oreo Colorfilled package they sent me looked like! I have to say, when I originally read about these, I was sort of skeptical – but seeing it in living color, this is pretty cool. You can add a hat to your Oreo cookies, people! Personalized Oreo packaging? I know SO MANY PEOPLE who would love this. And Oreo is hoping YOU are one of them.

I thought the cookies would be colored like colored wafers and different crèmes.

  2. Devin H. says:

It would be way cooler if you could customize the cookies inside as well, especially if you could create flavor combinations not available in stores. It’d probably be way more expensive, but if you’re doing something like this you might as well go all out.

    Are you dead?
