Junk Food Guy Seeking Wasabi Doritos!
Good…er…afternoon Junk Food Nation. Sorry for the delayed post – and it’s just gonna be a quick one too. A few weeks back, my friend Michelle asked me to try Wasabi Doritos:
The Money Shot...sort of
Since then, I’ve been looking and looking for these chips, with no success. I even tried Googling them to see if I could buy them online…when I made a surprising discovery.
Mr. Dragon!
In the US, these chips have been marketed as pictured above – NOT as Wasabi Doritos but as “Mr. Dragon’s Fire Chips.” When I saw this, I realized – I *HAD* had these before!!!! I felt like Jason Bourne, or Tyler Durden, uncovering memories of an alternate life where I had eaten these chips.
Anyways, I am seeking them again so I can do a proper review. Can anyone point the way?

Mr. Dragon’s Fire Chips??? What the hell is that? I’m pretty sure those three Japanese characters below that made-up title say “wasabi.”
“People don’t know what wasabi is, but we still want them to know it’s Asian-y. What else is Asian-y? Dragons!”
